The aboce Am Pentatonic Scale is the most popular guitar scale. Using this scale a guitar player can play a unique solo. This scale is also moveable and can be played at various places on teh guitar neck depending on what key you are playing in. The above scale would be used when playing in the key of C. The chords used would probably be C Am F G. Of course these chords can be played in a diffent order or only three of them can be played. The player must be creative and used his imagination to make up a meaningful solo. There are many diffetnt guitar scales that can be use to create new solos.
Below are several diffent scales that can be used. Practice these scales over and over until you master them. When a player can master playing chords and scales he can begin to write music and try to put a song together. Remember that when you solo you should let your solo flow with the melody of the song. Dont try to do to much or too little. Do what you want and what you feel sounds right.
